"Your World Cup" - Women's World Cup in London begins on July 21st 2018.
• Junior Umpiring Course organised by Gillian went very well. 13 potential umpires took part. It was delivered by Andrew Nix with support from Miles Hudson from Durham City HC. Many thanks to all the Umpire Mentors: Jean Hughes, Mike Warren, Matthew Rush, Jonathan Thompson, Richard Garner, Ean MacKellar and Colin Allen.
• WBTHC hosted Junior Tournament - went well. Junior Umpires given practice. Thanks to organisers on the day, Bev Finlay and Nikki Wood. Special thanks to Clare Leeds, Deborah Whiting and Karen Nicholson.
Junior Tournament in Kirkby Stephen - U10s were 3rd out of 4 in EH knockout. Many thanks to Sarah Henderson.
• Junior GK kit/helmets on order.
• Northumbria University survey on potential water-based pitch at Coach Lane completed.
• Bobble hats – tremendous success. All 75 gone.
• End of season meal – Saturday 28 April. Let your captain know your availability. Estimated cost £15. Venue to be confirmed.
