Sarah Wilson, who teaches PE at the Scottish school was voted the FiH Female Umpire of the Year in 2018.
She umpired in the Rio Olympics including the bronze medal match between Germany and New Zealand.
She was promoted to the FiH top umpiring group, putting her in the top 16 umpires in the world.
The 2 games were Under 14 A & B which were won by Gordon Watson's College 1-0 and 7-0.
Gillian said that Sarah was a lovely, down to earth lady and it was a pleasure to umpire with her. It transpires that Sarah is a family friend of our Emma Davie.
