Blowing our own trumpet. More of this please!

The Umpires like us! I'm really proud.

In recent weeks the Club has received 2 outstanding compliments. Both to our Men's 1st Team Captain - Jervis Fleming.

"Just a quick note, as I think too often we do not do this, to thank you, the Team, Woody and Mike today.
For a long time the hospitality and friendship offered has been fantastic. All players take time to engage post match and make us feel more than welcome. And this year's teas!
Enjoyed the game and both sides very well behaved on the pitch. And this is increasingly the norm with your games.
I very much look forward to my next allocation with you.
Once again thanks.
Mike" (Lakinski)

"Just a quick not to thanks you and Whitley Bay for your hospitality on Saturday, from arriving at the ground John (Wood) organised somewhere for Darran and I to change, then got us the changing room with shower afterwards. He also engaged in a meaningful, pleasant post-match conversation and I guess, if it wasn't for his commitment to RGS, would have done this back at the Dun Cow. Back at the pub we were well hosted by Mike and the food is as good as anywhere I've been, I could have stayed and drank and ate until the food was gone but the law prohibits drinking and driving!
Personally, on the balance of play, I thought you deserved something out of the game but the early chances weren't taken, then they scored a couple of goals which maybe on another day...
Good luck for the next week at Chester and see you in a couple of weeks when you host Lindum.
Kind regards
Simon Little"
