Sun Pat goes down a treat. http://www.newsguardian.co.uk/news/golden-joy-for-young-hockey-players-1-8498708

The last time I was so close to a gold medal was in 1972 when I met Mary Peters -Olympic Pentathlete
- Gillian Troup - Ladies' President
WBTHC today hosted a masterclass training session taken by Sam Quek and aided by coaches Lynne Dobison and Simon Lee.
We would like to thank Sun Pat for choosing our club. It was a great privilege to host the event on a sunny, spring morning at The Parks Sports Centre in North Shields..
A selection of boys and girls took part in the session which was looked on by lots of proud parents, guardians and spectators.
Sam was an enthusiastic and charismatic coach and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Hopefully those who were coached will go on to better and higher things in the hockey world. We hope Sam's inspiration will continue to enthuse many more children to follow hockey and to "never give up " in their quest for success.
All 62 photos from the day are now loaded on the website in the folder "Sam Quek" in the Photos section.
