As the season ends we could not be more proud of our Women’s 1st team this season after they have won their league and will be promoted into the National League Conference North.

They won 20/22 games, scored a massive 84 goals and finished with an impressive goal difference of 68.

Chair person, Alison Gordon, commented:

As a club, we are incredibly proud of the achievements of our women’s 1st team this season. We are all excited to support them on their national league journey next season.

It has been almost 8 years since the club were last in the National League and this squad have worked incredibly hard over the last few seasons to regain that position.

Womens 1st team captain, Ali Sedcole, commented:

We’ve had such an incredible season and ultimately that’s come down to all the hard work and commitment that the team has put in this year. For 3 seasons we have been aiming for promotion so to finally get there is an amazing achievement that we are all super proud of! Next season we have a new challenge and a new league which will really test us as a squad but it’s an exciting position to be in and i can’t wait!
